The African American Inventors’ Museum
African Americans have made a vast contribution to the scientific and engineering output of the United States and this history is brought to life in the showcase. Inventions are authenticated by patent drawings, photographs, replicas, representative models and biographies which highlight trailblazers, contemporaries and careers.
The museum’s ultimate goals are to help everyone realizes the many contributions of African American inventors and to inspire them to see the possibilities for themselves and what their contributions could be to the world in the diverse career paths of STEM.
